Catriona and Dave got engaged at Eilean Donan Castle, with its beautiful backdrop of mountain and sea views located in the West Highlands, Dornie. It was an exciting and nervous time, especially for Dave after all his thoughtful planning this was it !
The serious part
Dave got in touch with myself in August to see if I could help him out to make the the proposal just that little bit more special . We chatted over the coming months via WhatsApp and together we formed a plan. Dave decided he wanted to propose on the Castle bridge that leads over onto the Island which the Castle has sat for centuries. During the marriage proposal he got down on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful sparkly engagement ring. Catriona had know idea this was coming and she of course said yes jumping into his arms. This is the part I love the best and I cant help getting emotional myself.

Eilean Donan Castle is just perfect. The location of the castle sits on a tiny island at the confluence of three lochs, this romantic fortress is one of Scotland’s most famous sights. Visitors from all over the World flock to admire the iconic view and discover the history of Eilean Donan Castle.This is why I try and encourage an early morning proposal or out of season to make the moment a little bit more intimate.
